Dr. Anna Kirklin

Dr. Kirklin grew up in Colorado for part of her childhood, then moved to Keller, Texas. Since the age of 4, she wanted to be a veterinarian. She grew up having all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, sugar gliders, ferrets, lizards, birds, hermit crabs), and enjoys working with and learning about all kinds of pocket pet species. Dr. Kirklin received her undergraduate education at Abilene Christian University in Texas with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 2017. Before being accepted into vet school, Dr. Kirklin worked as a veterinary assistant for almost 3 years at a small animal hospital in North Texas. She graduated from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in Glendale, AZ in May of 2024. She met her husband, Christopher in college and got married in June of 2018. Currently she has 2 dogs and 2 cats: Chance (Rottweiler mix), Sunni (Shepherd mix), Torchy (incredibly naughty orange tabby), and Archer (flame point Siamese mix). Her special interests are in preventative healthcare, dentistry, internal medicine, exotic animal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She spends her days off traveling, hiking, gardening, reading thriller novels, and listening to Taylor Swift!
