James moved from Chicago in 1994, with aspirations of becoming a member of the veterinary profession. Starting as an eager kennel attendant, James quickly advanced through the ranks and eventually joined the Anthem Veterinary Technology program and became a Certified Veterinary Technician (C.V.T). In pursuit of higher education, James earned a degree in Business Management, where he went on to manage the veterinary department of one the valley’s largest animal shelters. 

James reluctantly took a sabbatical from veterinary medicine in 2017, but always knew he would return. It was in May 2023, when James met the Stonecrest team and knew he needed to join this dedicated team of  professionals. In June, 2023 James joined the team as a credentialed veterinary technician, bringing with him over 2 decades of experience in animal care. When James is not tending to patients at Stonecrest, he can be found horseback riding with his Daughter, or just hanging out with his 3 dogs (Preston, Killian and Charlie) and bird (Danny DaTweeto).
