Born and raised in the Southwest, Makayla has spent her entire life dedicated to the care of animals. Her childhood was spent working various ranches from Patagonia, AZ to Deming, NM. She began her professional career in 2019, starting at a small and large animal clinic in Deming, NM. In 2022 she moved to Phoenix and has been providing The Valley with top notch care since. Makayla is still rooted with her western heritage, riding horses, hiking, and enjoying the desert landscape with her husband and their dogs Tig and Jack, along with their cat Kiki.
